Mary Ann Varder Grubb (1902–1922)
1870–1922
Daughter of Thomas and Mary Ann Bridges. Born in the Falklands. Travelled to Britain in 1880 to attend boarding school in Bristol; returned to Tierra del Fuego in 1888. Married the missionary Wilfrid Barbrooke Grubb in 1901 after an eleven-year engagement. Lived in Scotland from 1909.
