James Whitbread Lee Glaisher
1848–1928
Mathematician. Son of James Glaisher. Second wrangler in the mathematical tripos, Cambridge University, 1871; fellow, lecturer, and assistant tutor of Trinity College from 1871. Member of many societies; wrote papers on astronomy, mathematics, and history of mathematics. Later interested in ceramics. FRS 1875.
