Jeremiah James Colman
1830–98
Manufacturer and agriculturalist. Partner in J. & J. Colman, mustard, starch, and blue manufacturers; head of firm, 1885–98. Sheriff of Norwich, 1862–3; mayor, 1867–8. MP for Norwich, 1871–95. A noted agriculturalist and stock breeder.
