Friedrich Ludwig
1851–1918
German teacher and biologist. Taught mathematics and biology at Greiz Gymnasium from 1875; senior teacher, 1880; professor, 1886; councillor, 1906. His botanical research focused mainly on cryptogams, while in zoology he worked on mites.
